Too Many To Name

Chad from Canada asks:  Other than Stargate, what's your favorite sci-fi movie or TV show, and why?

David Blue answers:  There are too many to name, really. I watch so much, it's hard to narrow it down. But I've always had a special place in my heart for Star Trek: The Next Generation. It was very influential to me.

Flubbed Lines

Robert from Dombóvár asks:  What was the funniest mistake you made or the funniest scene you played in?

David Blue answers:  I'm a sucker for flubbed lines. Whenever somebody messes up a line or switches words, I always find it hilarious, I don't know why. I hope I'm not embarrassing him with this, but I absolutely loved it when Lt. Scott (Brian J. Smith) was hailing Destiny and said: "Scott, this is Destiny, come in." I don't know why I found it so funny.

Continue Writing

Debra from Cleveland, OH asks:  If you could have any job other than acting, which job would you choose and why?

David Blue answers:  I'd probably continue writing, directing and producing. But if we're talking outside the industry? I'd love to be a working musician. I love music, and the idea that I can create those types of experiences for other people would be rewarding.

A Busy Body

Cody from Billings, MT asks:  How long would it take you to go crazy on Destiny in real life?

Julia Benson answers:  Not long, I am a busy body and need things to do I would go crazy without my friends and family around.   It would be very hard for me to get used to the isolation of life on the ship. In fact if I were really stuck on Destiny I would probably be head of the games committee and have everyone participating in some sort of ongoing competition!  I am big on board games and well any sport that involves a little healthy competition! LOL

Family and Friends

Arianne from Canada asks:  If you were stuck in the same situation as your character, what would you miss the most about Earth?

David Blue answers:  My family and friends. I empathize with Eli on that. It must be so difficult to be separated from the ones you love like that. I feel the same way about soldiers.

Would Be Great

Sérgio from Cascais, Portugal asks:  What are the chances of a food fight happening in a near future, given that the food is scarce and everyone is really sick of that white stuff?

Julia Benson answers:  No kidding right?  The white stuff gets old for the characters, but actually sometimes it is Vanilla Yogurt which is delicious :) A food fight would be great, it would fit into my musical episode….maybe I will pitch that to the producers!
