I Get Excited

Robert from Perth asks: When you're shooting a gate scene, do you imagine it's real? And if so, do you get nervous before walking through it?

Patrick Gilmore answers: When I did BSG I explored the studio during a break. I came across one of the old Vipers and ran my hand along the nose. That was exciting. But more so, to this day, anytime I walk through the Stargate, even in rehearsal I get excited. It's not just a rite of passage, it's something unexplainable. I'm not much of a SciFi guy, but this gets me every time. Maybe because I'm one of a select few that have done so, and on many occasions.

Female Version Of Rush

Trevor from Ontario, Canada asks: If they found a way of traveling between Earth and Destiny which characters would you choose to stay and work on Destiny, and who would go to Earth and not return to Destiny?

Julia Benson answers: Good question! I think the obvious person to stay is Rush as he believes this is his destiny. The rest of us are still coming to terms with what it all means. For those of us in the military, it is still our duty to follow orders and complete our mission. But all of us have unfinished business back at home. I think that everyone’s feelings are constantly evolving.

Peter Kelamis answers: Let's just say, I mentioned in a yet unreleased Kino scene that Brody has a boston terrier back on Earth named Marylyn....the fact that me and my wife own two boston terriers, on of which is named Marylyn...did not influence that at all.

Memories of the Experience

Ed from England asks: Do you watch the show after production?

Brian J. Smith answers: You know, I tended to watch the full episodes for season 1, maybe a bit too much. So this year for season 2 I'm planning on just leaving my work on set and not watching the finished episodes. Maybe months down the line I'll be able to, but honestly it's never the way you think it's going to be. I'd rather hold on to my memories of the experience of shooting a particular scene instead of seeing how it actually turned out.

Alaina Huffman answers: if I am onset and just in my trailer I am playing with Charley, she and John (my Husband) come to work with me and if they are not there than I read, check emails, answer questions, do interviews, sometimes take a nap, watch a movie, workout... I keep myself busy:)

MATERIALS LICENSE AGREEMENT

IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY: This Materials License Agreement (the "Agreement") is a legal agreement between you and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. 1. You will not represent tha tyour web site or application is endorsed or approved by or affiliated with MGM or that any other content on your web site or application is endorsed or approved by or affiliated with MGM. In addition, you will not falsely stat or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with MGM

- f. You will not combine the Materials with other materials in a manner that creates a new combined work.
- g. You will abide by all rules, regulations and agreements in a manner that creates a new combined work.
- h. You will not make the Materials available for redistribution or download, you will not charge for access to the Materials (either rental or for a fee) and you will not make the Materials available on a network.
- i. If you describe the posted Materials, you will only do so in a positive manner.
- j. You acknowledge and agree that you will not acquire or claim any rights in the Materials or aid or abet anyone else in doing so.
2. The Materials are provided on an "as is" and "with all faults" basis without any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, including, without limitation, the warranties of quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
3. The Materials remain the exclusive property of MGM. All rights in the Materials are hereby reserved by MGM.
4. Any misuse of the Materials or breach of this Agreement will cause MGM irreparable harm. You agree to indemnify and hold MGM harmless for any liablity arising out of your breach of this Agreement. MGM reserves the right to exclusively control the defense or settlement of any claims. In any event, you will not settle any claims without MGM's prior written approval.
5. MGM reserves the right to revoke this limited license at any time, for any reasons, and at the sole discretion of MGM and you agree to immediately remove the Materials from any web site or application to which you posted the Materials at any time upon MGM's request.
